Last month I retired from the United States Marine Corps after serving 22 years. I mostly served stateside in a training capacity; however I did do a brief stint aboard a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier.
Throughout the years I have made many friends and have developed some very good relationships. At my retirement party I was surprised by the amount of thank you gifts that were given to me.
These gifts came mainly from people I’ve worked with over the years. I also got a couple of gifts that were from people I served with in the past and had somewhat forgotten about.
